Tanzania Safari
Unsurpassed wildlife, tropical beaches, snow-covered Kilimanjaro, fascinating cultures, friendly people – Tanzania is a safari destination without equal. The national parks and game reserves in Tanzania cover almost 35% of the country, which is the most extensive network of wildlife reserves in Africa. From the famous parks in the north, such as the Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater, to the more remote and wild parks in the southern part, like Selous and Ruaha. The variety and concentration of big mammals (including Big Five and Great Migration) in these parks is supreme. It’s for a reason Tanzania has been awarded for the second time as Best Safari Country in Africa. Another plus of this country are the beautiful Zanzibar Archipelago, just a few km from the mainland. It’s the most beautiful tropical spot to relax after a safari in the bush or challenging Kilimanjaro trekking. Apart from endless white beaches and clear blue waters, Zanzibar is also full of options for adventurers and culture vultures.

Uganda Safari
Another beautiful safari country to visit is the much smaller Uganda, where East and West Africa meet. This green and lush nation is dotted with lakes, rivers, waterfalls, mountains and tea plantations. Compared to most neighbouring countries, the infrastructure in Uganda is less developed and therefore offers a real off the beaten track safari feel. Uganda’s main attraction are the primates. Kibale National Park is the primate capital of the world with the highest concentration chimpanzees, while Bwindi National Park is home to about half of the world’s mountain gorilla population. Trekking through the jungle to find a family of gorillas or chimps is such a thrilling experience. Other highlights are a boat tour on the Kazinga Channel that is teemed with crocodiles and hippos, or the greatest waterfall of the Nile River in Murchison Falls.
